We just barely fit into the canal...about a foot on either side. Notice the rail cars along the sides...they
are tied to the ship and pull it through the canal. This takes nearly all day to make it through 3 sets of locks.
We traveled thru on Mother's Day 2010.

Above you can see one of the locks as we sailed the Panama Canal. You can watch the water rise in
one section as it lowers in another so the ship can make it's way through the canal. Very interesting!

Since we had been to Grand Cayman before and did all the tourist stuff, we just stayed close to the beach
and did a little drinking, snorkeling and shopping...a good day to just chill on this beautiful island.

Grand Cayman is one of our very favorite places to visit. Last time we were there was on our Honeymoon
in 1996...just georgeous!
