One of the major highlights of our trip...the Great
Pyramids of Egypt and riding the camels!
We docked in Alexandria, Egypt for two days.
We toured Alexandria the first day and then took a bus to Ciaro on day two. We visited the great Pyramids and Sphinx
in Giza just outside Ciaro. Simply AWESOME, but we were not impressed with the cities of Alexandria and Ciaro.
They were dirty and run down with donkey carts on the roadways and trash burning in the canal. For their ancestors to
have built such magnificant and grand works of architecture, today they seem to be going backward.

Mykonos, a Greek
Island. Nice brightly colored roof tops on white-washed stucco buildings on the side of a hill overlooking the sea.

Above is the Blue Mosque which is the best known building
in Istanbul.
Left is the interior of the Hagia Sophia built in
360 AD and over the years it has been a Christain Cathedral and Islamic Mosque. Today it is a museum showing items from
it's long past and all religons.
Right is just a small glimpse of the Grand Bazaar
where you can find anything in the world.
