Sedona sunset from our deck on top of the mountain overlooking the town
and the red rock mountains surrounding this quaint little town. Lots of fine shopping in town.
The vastness of the Grand Canyon cannot truly be seen in photos.
One must be there to actually see and experience the enormous size and beauty of nature's grand wonder of the world.
You can view it from different locations and the sun will cast shadows so that it is ever changing. If you look closely,
you will see the great Colorado River that runs along the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Above are the birdcage crib compartments as they were called, where ladies would entertain
their gentlemen callers overlooking the stage below. These cribs would cost the aveage cowboy $100/night...nice
chunk of change in those days.
Who were the good guys and
who were the bad guys?
Oct. 26, 1881 young Billy Clanton was only 19 when he
was killed in the infamous gunfight at O.K. Corral in Tombstone Territory.
Below is his gravemarker where he is buried at Boothill.
Peter Smith, Killed, 1882
Age 23, was struck on the back of the head with a poker and killed by Thomas Donald during
a fight.

Yes we did make the dance competition; however, I believe we were ready for vacation,
so we didn't do our best. But we did qualify for the Worlds Championship.

Above is the famous Birdcage Theatre where there
were stage shows, gambling, ladies of the night and lots of can-can dancing and wildness going on. You can still see
some of the 140 bullet holes in the ceiling and walls where gunfights would erupt or just excited cowboys would
go crazy and shoot off their guns. Tombstone was a boomtown for only 9 years; but during that time, the Birdcage
Theatre never closed it's doors 24 hrs. a day.

Here lies Frank and Tom McLaury in Boothill. Their final resting place following the infamous
gunfight at O.K. Corral in Tombstone Territory...Oct. 26, 1881.
In Boothill you will find several very interesting
markers.
Such as the one that reads...

ABOVE...Red rock mountains all around you in the neat little town of Sedona,
AZ. Climb to the top of one of the many locations to find a vortex...high magnetic energy source which we
have heard gives you real inner peace and calmness. I can't say we ever experienced it, but it was fun climbing
around the mountains. A real quiet town for artist, boutiques, unique shops and sidewalk cafes.
ABOVE & BELOW...We got some of the best photos during an hour long helicopter tour of The Grand Canyon. That
was just breathtaking. You are flying over the forest of tall timbers, then all of a sudden the bottom falls out just
over the south rim and you are engulfed in the greatness of it's majestic senery...just awesome!
Above is the basement below the stage and the same poker
tables as they were back in 1880's. There are also some changing rooms used for more private entertaining
by the ladies who worked in this lusty den of inquity.
When the shooting ended, three men lay dead
...Tom and Frank McLaury and young Billy Clanton.
One of the many interesting gravemarkers in Boothill - Tombstone Territory
